01Swatches, saved and named colours
The bottom bar holds the palette — drag any swatch onto any shape (Shift drops it on the stroke instead). Saved colours keep your own mixes; NAMED colours are live links — edit one and every object using it updates.
02Gradients with handles
Pick linear, radial or conic in the Fill section and drag the on-canvas handles to aim it. Add stops, recolour them, drag their positions — text takes gradients too.
03Fractal cloud fills
The cloud fill mixes two colours through organic noise, Xara-style. Set the scale, hit the dice for a new pattern — instant skies, marble and texture.
04Blend modes
The Effects panel's Blend dropdown changes how an object mixes with what's behind it — Multiply for shadows and ink, Screen for light, Overlay for punch. They export correctly to SVG and PDF.
05Shadows, glows, feather
Drop shadow, inner shadow, outer and inner glow each have colour, blur and offset. Feather softens an object's edges while the inside stays sharp — the secret of vignettes and soft badges.
06Pop colours
Select anything — especially vectorized vintage art — and hit Pop colours in the Object section to saturate and brighten the whole palette one notch. Poster is the strong version. Click again for more; Undo steps back.
